DDCworks adds five new clients in Q1, 2017

New client wins cap off successful inaugural year at new downtown Philly location

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – April, 2017DDCworks, an integrated branding, advertising and public relations agency, is celebrating its first anniversary in its new Center City, Philadelphia office with the addition of five new clients.

DDCworks was selected by Casper Pharma LLC in East Brunswick, New Jersey, to promote its fenofibrate prescription drug, Triglide, and to increase awareness of the brand.

The School District of Philadelphia sought out DDCworks to create a teacher recruitment campaign for the 2017 - 2018 academic year.  The ‘Make an Impact’ campaign includes digital ads, teacher testimonial videos, radio and outdoor ads, and is aimed at helping the school district recruit 1,000 new teachers.

Zodiac Interactive, an iTV solutions provider, retained the agency to update its brand messaging and positioning, design and develop a new website and to launch a pilot marketing campaign that includes public relations as well as advertising throughout Northern Europe.

Avenue Red expanded its relationship with the firm to provide public relations and thought leadership communications for Holman Automotive Group, one of the largest privately-owned automobile dealerships in the nation.  The public relations campaign includes message development, media training, strategic placement of news articles and thought leadership commentary.

Judge Wade Kagarise, an experienced Central Pa. prosecutor and jurist, has selected the agency to promote his candidacy for Pennsylvania Superior Court.  DDCworks is targeting voters throughout the Commonwealth via a digital media and radio effort to create awareness among likely voters.

“When we decided to relocate to Center City Philadelphia after nearly 50 years as a suburban agency, the hope was that it would create even more opportunities for us,” says Mike Diccicco, Chief Executive Officer of DDCworks.  “The ability to attract a new cadre of clientele while maintaining our core of life science, real estate, financial and manufacturing clients was one of our goals that we are seeing become a reality.”

DDCworks Moves Headquarters to Philadelphia’s Historic Cast Iron Building

Relocation marks new era for 48-year-old marketing agency

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – May 17, 2016DDCworks, an integrated branding, public relations and advertising agency, has moved its headquarters to The Cast Iron Building, located at 718 Arch Street in downtown Philadelphia as the agency continues to grow and to take full advantage of the new business, networking and recruiting opportunities Center City has to offer.

Since its inception in 1968, DDCworks has become known for its national and international client list.  Recognizing the benefits of a location in the heart of a major business hub, the agency jumped at this opportunity to move downtown.

“Philadelphia is a vibrant and exciting city full of driven, energetic and creative talent,” says Mike Diccicco, chief executive officer of DDCworks. “These are exciting times for us as an agency. Our partnerships have already seen the benefits from this relocation, and we’re building on that momentum.”

DDCworks’ new 5,000 square foot space in the old Lit Brothers building, an iconic Philadelphia department store built in 1868, is the only cast iron building still operational and the only full block of Victorian architecture within the city limits.  The modern yet industrial interior complete with ornate pillars, cast iron arches and floor to ceiling windows invites natural sunlight to fill the collaborative space shared between creative, public relations and media team members, and fosters a bright and energetic team environment.

“Our new home is full of personality and really adds to the chemistry of the agency.” says Sean Donohue, executive vice president and creative director.  “The architecture of the building, the Lit Brothers innovative advertising legacy, and the overall feel of the place makes the Cast Iron Building a great space with a colorful history – just like DDCworks.”

Philadelphia is a place where corporations thrive alongside universities and rich cultural neighborhoods.  This diversity allows an organization as seasoned as DDCworks to grow its deep bench of staff experts, and has already led to expansions of its life sciences, financial, education and manufacturing industry clientele. DDCworks is continuing their growth with staffing announcements just around the corner, and looks to build on the momentum already in the works before this move to downtown Philadelphia.
