Even Big Brands need some advocacy
Multiple sclerosis affects 400,000 Americans each year. But it’s often a silent disease that doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Biogen Idec looked to DDCworks to help its advocates share their experiences with MS and their treatments. The ActiveVoices Mentor Program was a simple idea. But to execute it in a sea of FDA regulation required incredible digital agility to recruit and engage advocates. The result is a unique, robust program that helps MS patients get support and learn from advocates (other MS patients) who are ready to listen. While the program has made a difference for patients, it’s also strengthened Biogen Idec’s reputation as the active leader within the MS community.
